Information Collected by Vehicleresult

Vehicleresult is a database that aggregates publicly available information for your convenience. Through Vehicleresult, Visitors can access materials made available through the Site, compiled, distributed, and displayed by Vehicleresult and third-party content providers (“Third-Party Providers”). These include, but are not limited to, third-party websites or services that offer information about vehicles (each, a “Searched Vehicle”) that can be searched and accessed through the Site (“Vehicleresult Searches”).


Vehicleresult collects three types of information: information you submit to us, information automatically collected about your usage of the Site, and information related to Searched Vehicles.

Information You Submit to Vehicleresult

We collect information that you provide when using the Site, including, but not limited to, when you submit an online application to become a Vehicleresult member (“Member”), which grants you access to various services available to Members through the Site (“Member Services”); when you conduct a Vehicleresult Search; or when you contact us with questions, comments, or requests. This information may include, but is not limited to, your: (a) email address; (b) full name; (c) company name; (d) date of birth; (e) password; (f) mailing address; (g) credit card information; and (h) details associated with a Searched Vehicle (such as a name, age, or address) used in your Vehicleresult Search.

Information Collected Automatically About Your Usage of the Site

Like most websites, we automatically gather certain information and store it in log files. This information may include your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit pages, operating system, date and time stamps, and clickstream data. We may combine this automatically collected log information with other data we collect about you to enhance the services we offer, improve marketing, analytics, and site functionality.

Information About Searched Vehicles

To facilitate Vehicleresult Searches, we collect information about Searched Vehicles from our third-party data providers. This information helps us provide you with accurate and relevant results when you conduct searches on our Site.

Use of Information Collected by Vehicleresult

We use the information we collect from you for various purposes, including:

  • To provide you with products, services, or information you request, such as Vehicleresult Searches and other Member Services.

  • To verify the validity and activity of any credit card you submit by charging and immediately crediting a small amount upon registration.
  • To send you service-related communications regarding your Member account, the Site, services you request, or required notices (we will communicate with you via your preferred medium, such as email or phone).

We utilize data about Searched Vehicles to provide responses to Vehicleresult Searches performed through the Site.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Vehicleresult may update or modify this Privacy Policy, either in whole or in part, at its discretion. These changes will take effect immediately upon posting a link to the updated policy on our Site’s homepage or by directly notifying you. If we make significant changes, we will inform you here, at the email address associated with your Member account, or through a notice on our homepage before the changes become effective. Your continued use of or access to the Site or any Member Services after any updates or notifications signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

Security

We are committed to safeguarding the information we collect from or about you, both online and offline. However, please note that no data security system or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we make every effort to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

Marketing Opt-out

If you receive marketing emails from Vehicleresult or our third-party advertisers, you can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions provided at the end of each email. We may have separate email lists for different purposes, so you may need to unsubscribe from multiple lists. Even if you opt out of all our and our third-party advertisers’ lists, you might still receive marketing emails in the future if you subscribe to a different marketing program, but you can always unsubscribe from those as well by following the instructions in any email you receive.

Additionally, you can notify Vehicleresult at any time that you do not want your information shared with third parties for marketing offers.

Please note that information sent on behalf of third-party advertisers is prepared several days in advance, so you may continue to receive emails from us or our third-party advertisers for up to ten (10) days after submitting your unsubscribe request as outlined above.
